On the Xbox Wireless Controller screen, select "…" to check the firmware version for your controller. Select a category to see names of devices, then right-click (or press and hold) the one you'd like to update. Remove the controller from the list by clicking on it and selecting 'Remove Device'.
Plug the Xbox controller into your PC via a USB cable.
Unplug Other Device From the PC.
To do this, follow these steps: Right-click on Start and select Run, or press Win + R on your keyboard. Navigate to Gaming > Xbox Game Bar, then enable Record game clips, screenshots, and broadcast using Game Bar. Check if your controller is recognized in Device Manager.
